The #1 Blunder Of An Entrepreneur

Pay attention to this if you’re in business…

Recently I was out with a client for a business meeting. During the meeting, suddenly, he called my attention to something not easily obvious.

For eternal seconds he played some silence as if in a movie…

…and some tension gradually built in the air.

Looking at me, he broke out, “you’re never warned properly.

You’re left high and dry while the storm of change is aimed at you and leaving you clueless.”

I got his point since his business was doing bad and that was why he reached out to me.

Many clients have shared similar experiences with me…

The horrific realities of surviving in any ruthless market get more and more complex every day.

Well, I hate complexity. And no one consciously does!

I like things to be simple. Clients consult with me to help solve their complications.

But simple doesn’t mean childish, however.

In fact, moving away from the complexity that blocks your path to profits and happiness can be difficult.

Why?

Because of Business Impulse.

You start with a simple business idea.

But before you know it, the impulse kicked in to complicate it in the name of finetuning it. (guess you’re nodding to this)

So common to see the addition of layers of unnecessary difficulty, doing kinds of stuff which does almost nothing to increase sales,

…making unprofitable financial investments, and other things that are crushing you.

And very little of it works obviously.

This is the first classic error most entrepreneurs make.

Often, my advice (which again, clients are paying for, because they are struggling and desperate to win) …

Is to go back to basics.

Avoid complications.

It means your focus should be on whatever does bring in money to the business and nothing else.

Every other lovely idea you have outside of the simple basics of that original idea…

Will be put on a nice list, which you will keep hidden from view.

So that’s your first blunder to avoid: complexity.

Cut it all down to the basics. For instance:

· just create a much simpler sales process.

· Email or send valuable text periodically.

· Give only simple 3-level product series- good, better, best — and focus on keeping your customer list full of fresh names.

No more than just three options to buy:

· A very inexpensive first level, to bring people into your world.

· A more expensive second option, for folks who love what you offer and want more.

· And a breathtakingly huge ultimate option… for those customers with money who want the best you’ve got. And you can take that to the bank.

To your Success,

Temitope
